Abstract
Vernal kerato-conjunctivitis (VKC) is responsible for the highest percentage of general eye clinic attendance among children in Africa and even the severe form is a potentially blinding disease in Nigeria following its worrisome complications. This research aimed at assessing the level of knowledge, prevention practices and factors influencing prevention practices taken by nursing mothers on vernal kerato-conjunctivitis in Massey Hospital Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
